Note! One-Way System Implemented in Puncak Bogor During May Day Tomorrow

Afif explained that the one-way route from Jakarta to Puncak is typically implemented around 07:30 WIB during long weekends when vehicle volume from Jakarta increases. However, for tomorrow, the one-way system has been postponed to facilitate workers heading to Jakarta in the morning. “Workers will be passing from Cianjur and Bandung towards Jakarta, so we are delaying the implementation time of the one-way system to start at 08:00 WIB,” said Afif. “The usual pattern is that when vehicle volume from Jakarta is high, the one-way to Puncak usually starts at 07:30 WIB. For tomorrow, even though vehicles have increased, we will still allow two-way traffic in the morning, and the one-way will only be implemented at 08:00 WIB,” said Afif. “With the hope that the public or workers from Cianjur and Bandung heading to Jakarta have already passed through (in the morning before 08:00 WIB),” he added. Afif further stated that the Traffic Unit of Bogor Regency Police has begun anticipating the impact of the movement of workers and the public who will be on holiday. Officers will be stationed along the Puncak Main Road and the routes that will be passed by the masses of workers heading to Jakarta. “We have already taken anticipatory measures and facilitated them, including securing the routes. Members have already been deployed along the routes,” he concluded.
