Note: Here is a List of 10 Majors Most Regretted by Students After Graduation
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The majority of students consider the major they pursue during college as the main foundation in determining the direction of their future career.
However, in reality, many college graduates feel they made the wrong choice and regret their decision in taking a particular study program.
Based on the results of a survey released by ZipRecruiter of 1,500 university graduate job seekers, several majors with the highest levels of regret were revealed.
According to Sinem Buber, chief economist at the institution, interest in a field during college often clashes with the reality of wage standards in the workforce after they hold a bachelor’s degree.
“When we graduate, reality will come. When you can barely pay your bills, your salary may become more important,” said Buber, quoted from CNBC International.
