Note: Exchange Trading Holiday Schedule During Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr 2026
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has set the trading holiday calendar for the Eid al-Fitr period in 2026, establishing five non-trading days during working hours. This follows the issuance of letter No. Peng-00171/BEI.POP/09-2025 dated 23 September 2025, which outlines the holiday schedule and the number of trading days for each month.
According to the IDX’s public disclosure, stock trading will be suspended for several days in March 2026 related to the celebration of Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr.
Several red dates (public holidays) have been established for March 2026. 18 March 2026 is designated as a joint holiday for the sacred day of Nyepi marking the Saka New Year 1948. 19 March 2026 marks the observation of Nyepi, the sacred day of the Saka New Year 1948.
Subsequently, 20, 23, and 24 March 2026 are designated as joint holidays for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijra.
With this calendar in place, market participants and investors are expected to adjust their trading strategies and transaction planning throughout March 2026. During the holiday period, there will be no stock trading transactions, settlement of transactions, or other capital market activities.
