Not Yet Got Your Ticket Home for Eid? Monitor This Free Return Journey Programme from the Transport Ministry

Migrant workers from Minangkabau in Jakarta who have not yet secured return journey tickets for Eid 2026 can monitor the free return journey programme offered by the Directorate General of Land Transport (Ditjen Hubdat).

Registration opens daily from 1-15 March 2026, beginning at 08:00 WIB, and will close once the daily quota is reached, according to the official Instagram account @ditjen_hubdat on Friday (27 February 2026).

Registration for the free return journey is to be opened from 1 March 2026 onwards through the online portal nusantara.kemenhub.go.id. Registration will close once all quotas have been filled.

The programme covers various cities, with motorcycle transport included as part of the return journey service for 2026. Departure schedules for the free return journey programme in 2026 have been announced accordingly.
