Not Using an iPhone: The Rp 3,200 Trillion Man's Mobile Phone is a Gift from a Friend

With a net worth reaching US$184.3 billion or Rp 3,268 trillion, Nvidia boss Jensen Huang could afford any mobile phone he desires. Recently, it was revealed which handset is his preferred choice.

Huang was seen using Samsung’s latest foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 8. This was revealed when he used the device to receive a call from US President Donald Trump during the All-In Summer 2026 event.

During the event, he took the phone out of his pocket and used the inner screen to accept the call and activate the speakerphone, as reported by Android Headlines on Thursday (17/9/2026).

This is not the first time Huang has been seen using a Samsung device. During a visit to China last May, he was seen carrying the previous generation foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

However, it remains unknown whether this Z Fold 8 was purchased directly or given as a gift by Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong. It is known that the Z Fold 7 was a gift from Lee Jae-yong, a fact which Nvidia has also confirmed. The relationship between Huang and Lee Jae-yong is known to be very close, with the two meeting regularly.

They frequently discuss topics such as supply chains, High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) chips, and AI infrastructure. Latest reports indicate that both will meet at an event in New York later this month, following their previous meeting in San Francisco in July.
