The development of health technology is increasingly opening opportunities for patients to obtain medical services that are accurate, personal, and well-targeted. Responding to this need, RS Premier Bintaro has introduced ROSA (Robotic Surgical Assistant), a state-of-the-art robotic technology innovation specifically designed to assist doctors in performing knee surgery procedures with a high degree of precision and measurability.

The introduction of ROSA® technology to the public was carried out through the event “ROSA® Robotic Surgical Assistant: Safer & Smarter Knee Surgery” held on Thursday (13/8/2026) at the Krakatau Room, Annex 1 Building, RS Premier Bintaro. The event featured Dr Andito Wibisono, Sp.OT, Subsp. PL, Hip and Knee Surgeon, and Dr Anita Ratnawati, Sp.KFR, Subsp. KR(K), Consultant Rehabilitation Medicine Physician, in a talk show session discussing the development of robotic technology in knee surgery and the patient recovery process.

The activity was also attended by Dr Relia Sari, MARS, CEO of RS Premier Bintaro, Dr Bambang Tutuko, Sp.An-KIC, Chairman of the Medical Committee of RS Premier Bintaro, and Mr Aloysius Maximilian, Country CEO – Asia OneHealthcare Indonesia. The presence of the management, medical committee, and leadership of Asia OneHealthcare Indonesia was a form of support for the development of technology-based services and medical innovation at RS Premier Bintaro.

ROSA® is a robotic surgical assistant designed to help doctors during knee surgery procedures. This technology provides information, measurements, and data-based guidance that helps doctors carry out planning and execution of actions in a more measurable way.

“Robotic technology is not intended to replace the role of doctors. Instead, this technology is present as an assistant that helps doctors make decisions and perform actions with data support and more detailed planning,” said Dr Andito Wibisono, Sp.OT, Subsp. PL in a written statement received by Republika on Wednesday (19/8/2026).

One of the advantages of this technology is its ability to help doctors adjust surgical planning to the anatomical conditions of each patient. This is important because every knee has a different shape and characteristics. With the support of ROSA®, doctors can obtain the measurements and information needed during the procedure, helping to produce actions that are more precise and suited to the patient’s needs.
