Jakarta - The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), as a Digital Business Campus, continues to demonstrate its commitment to producing graduates ready to compete in the global era through innovative learning programmes. One such initiative is the Internship Experience Programme (IEP) 3+1. The IEP 3+1 programme represents an implementation of learning that integrates the academic world with the industrial world. Through this scheme, students undergo three years of study on campus and one year of direct internship in the working world, thereby gaining real experience before graduation. This programme is designed to enhance competencies, strengthen work readiness, and provide a competitive edge for students in facing career challenges at both national and global levels. As a Digital Business Campus, UNM provides an adaptive learning environment in response to technological developments and industry needs. Students are not only equipped with theory but also practical skills, digital abilities, and relevant soft skills for the current job market. Dean of FEB UNM, Ida Zuniarti, affirmed that the IEP 3+1 programme is a flagship strategy in improving the competitiveness of graduates. “Through this programme, students do not only learn in the classroom but also gain direct experience in the working world. This becomes an important added value so that graduates are more prepared, adaptive, and have a competitive advantage,” she stated in a release received on Monday (13/4/2026). She added that the IEP 3+1 programme aligns with FEB UNM’s vision of delivering innovative digital-based education relevant to industry needs. “We are committed to providing learning that is in line with the needs of the working world, so that FEB graduates are not only able to compete at the national level but also have opportunities to pursue careers at the global level,” said Ida. Through IEP 3+1, students have the opportunity to get to know the professional world earlier, build industry networks, and increase their confidence in facing the job market. “With these various advantages, Universitas Nusa Mandiri as a Digital Business Campus further affirms its role in producing a generation of professionals who are job-ready, adaptive, and capable of penetrating the global market,” said Ida.
