Not Just Hotel Sultan, State Secretariat Takes Over GBK Multipurpose Building

The Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg) has taken over the Wisma Serbaguna building asset in the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Complex. This was revealed by Minister of State Secretariat Prasetyo Hadi during a working meeting with Commission XIII of the House of Representatives (DPR) at the Parliament Complex on Wednesday (15/7/2026). Prasetyo explained that the location is directly behind the Artotel Gelora Senayan, formerly known as the Hotel Century Atlet. He stated that his party has successfully communicated with the previous owner for the management to be returned to the GBK Complex Management Centre (PPKGBK) or to the state. “We have successfully reviewed it and the previous owner will return the management rights to PPKGBK or to the state,” he said. Prasetyo added that his party will continue to review all state assets managed by PPK GBK and PPK Kemayoran. “This is one example we want to report, the location of this Wisma Serbaguna has been and has been successfully returned to the state, just like the Block 15 complex,” he added. According to the GBK website, the Wisma Serbaguna Building is a multifunctional building that can be used for weddings, job fairs, gatherings, seminars, competitions, graduations, and more. The building was previously used for the 2019 Wufest Taolu Championship and served as the office for the Indonesia Asian Games Organising Committee (INASGOC).
