Not Just Drugs: Ethics Hearing Reveals Sexual Misconduct Allegations Against Former Bima Police Chief AKBP Didik
Jakarta, VIVA – New facts have emerged in the ethics hearing of former Bima City Police Chief, Adjunct Senior Commissioner (AKBP) Didik Putra Kuncoro. Beyond the narcotics-related charges, the National Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) panel also uncovered allegations of sexual deviance.
The findings became one of the key grounds for the panel to impose the sanction of Dishonourable Discharge (PTDH) against Didik. The alleged violations surfaced during the ethics hearing held at the TNCC Building of the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta on Thursday, 19 February 2026.
“And engaging in deviant activities,” said the Head of the Public Information Bureau of the National Police’s Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko.
He emphasised that the alleged sexual misconduct was separate from the narcotics abuse violations also levelled against Didik. However, the specific details of the misconduct were not disclosed to the public.
“The findings of alleged sexual misconduct emerged from the examination process during the commission hearing. It is one of the offences uncovered during the examination,” he said.
The KKEP panel subsequently determined that both the narcotics violations and the alleged sexual misconduct constituted the primary considerations for the dismissal.
“Therefore, the accused was found to have committed violations, including sexual misconduct,” he said.
Didik was charged under Article 13, Paragraph d of Police Regulation Number 7 of 2022 on the Professional Code of Ethics and the Police Code of Ethics Commission, which states: “Every police officer in matters of personal ethics is prohibited from engaging in sexual deviance or sexual disorientation.”
Additionally, he was also charged under Article 13, Paragraph f of Police Regulation Number 7 of 2022, which states: “Every police officer in matters of personal ethics is prohibited from committing adultery and/or having extramarital affairs.”
“Upon the verdict, the offender, in the presence of the Chairman and Members of the Commission, stated that he accepted the ruling,” he added.
As previously reported, the fate of former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro has finally been determined.
The KKEP ethics hearing panel officially imposed the sanction of Dishonourable Discharge (PTDH), effectively dismissing him from the National Police. The verdict was delivered during the ethics hearing held at National Police Headquarters in Jakarta on Thursday, 19 February 2026. The panel was chaired by the Deputy Inspector General of the National Police, Inspector General Merdisyam, and took into consideration testimony from 18 witnesses.
