Not Just BGN Offices: Dadan Hindayana's Residence Also Raided; Phones and Laptops Seized by Attorney General's Office
The investigation into alleged corruption regarding the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Programme for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, involving former Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana and two former deputies, continues to progress. Following the naming of suspects, the Attorney General’s Office has begun collecting digital footprints and documents believed to be related to the case.
From the searches conducted at the BGN office in the Kebon Sirih area, Central Jakarta, investigators seized various pieces of evidence ranging from documents to electronic devices. The Director of Investigation for the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General’s Office, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, revealed that the secured items include not only administrative documents but also devices that potentially contain important data related to the ongoing investigation. “The results of the search include documents and electronic evidence. Mobile phones, laptops, and others,” he stated on Wednesday, 3 June 2026.
However, the Attorney General’s Office has not yet disclosed further details regarding the quantity or contents of the documents and electronic devices seized from the search locations. Investigators are still examining all seized evidence to further uncover alleged irregularities in the management of the Free Nutritious Meal Programme. “We will inform everyone regarding further developments in the investigation,” he added.
Notably, the searches were not limited to the BGN offices. The Attorney General’s Office also moved to several other locations deemed relevant to the case, including the residences of the suspects. Syarief stated that the evidence-gathering operation had actually commenced on Tuesday night, 2 June 2026, prior to the public announcement of the suspects’ designation. “Since last night, we have been conducting searches in several places. In addition to the MBG office, there were also the residential homes of the suspects. And as of this afternoon, searches are still ongoing in other locations,” he noted.
It was previously reported that the Attorney General’s Office uncovered serious alleged irregularities in the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Programme, implicating three former high-ranking officials of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) as suspects. Former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana, along with former Deputy Heads Sony Sanjaya and Lodewyk Pusung, are alleged to have exploited the construction of Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) through foundations affiliated with them.
