PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) recorded solid performance growth with a significant surge in net profit from Rp16.2 trillion in 2020 to Rp32.8 trillion in 2025. Astra’s President Director, Djony Bunarto Tjondro, stated that this success stems from portfolio diversification across seven business lines and consistent adherence to the Catur Dharma philosophy. To date, Astra has overseen 321 subsidiaries supported by more than 190,000 employees. “Sixty-nine years is not merely a count of time, but a story of millions of steps growing and moving alongside the nation. The Group’s resilience is supported by a diversified portfolio and disciplined execution,” Djony remarked in his statement on Wednesday (18/3/2026). Djony explained that Astra’s resilience through various crises, from the Covid-19 pandemic to geopolitical uncertainties, is anchored in the 3P Roadmap strategy. This approach balances business performance (Portfolio), human resource development (People), and social contribution (Public Contribution). In terms of human resources, Astra prioritises the people legacy concept to ensure smooth leadership regeneration. “We must continue to seek new talents and prepare leaders who are not only competent but also possess character and loyalty. Our succession process is prepared several years in advance to ensure continuity,” Djony added. Looking to the future, Astra is pursuing measured business expansion. In addition to strengthening the automotive and financial services sectors, the company is now venturing into promising new areas such as digital banking, healthcare services, and investments in non-coal minerals. Djony emphasised that the principle of prudence remains the foundation for every new investment. This diversification is expected to be the key to the company’s performance stability across various national economic cycles. In line with its mission of “Sejahtera Bersama Bangsa”, Astra is also enhancing its social contributions. One of its flagship programmes, Desa Sejahtera Astra, has now reached more than 1,500 villages in 35 provinces, covering education, health, and entrepreneurship. “Astra must remain a beneficial entity for the nation and state. Continuity gives stability, but values give eternity,” Djony concluded. PT Astra International Tbk (Astra) is committed to synergising with the government to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through the Climate Programme (ProKlim), Pama facilitates communities in enhancing an economy based on environmental preservation. The Rp21 trillion dividend includes an interim dividend of Rp3.97 trillion or Rp98 per share.
