Not a UNAMET member

The letter Relations with Australia by Vikrama Vardhana on
Oct. 19, 1999 refers to an Australian detained in Irian Jaya as a
member of UNAMET.

The individual in question is not, and has never been, a
member of UNAMET.

As this allegation has been made elsewhere I thought it
important to clarify the issue.
