Not 70,000, BGN Orders 25,000 Electric Motorcycles for SPPG Heads

JAKARTA - The Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, stated that the procurement of motorcycles for Heads of Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) is not 70,000 units as claimed in viral social media information.

Dadan emphasised that the information is untrue or a hoax, as the procurement of motorcycle units for SPPG amounts to 21,801 out of a total of 25,000 ordered for 2025.

“The information about 70,000 units is not true. The total realisation of electric motorcycles is 21,801 units out of 25,000 units ordered in 2025,” said Dadan in a press statement on Tuesday (7/4/2026).

In accordance with regulations, the vehicles purchased with this budget must go through administrative processes as State Goods (BMN) before they can be used.

“The motorcycles have not yet been distributed. Once everything is complete, they will first be recorded as BMN before distribution,” he said.

“This motorcycle procurement is indeed included in the 2025 budget. Their function is to support the operations of SPPG heads,” said Dadan.

He hopes that the public can understand that this procurement is part of the government’s efforts to ensure the smooth implementation of the National Food Fulfilment Programme (MBG) throughout Indonesia.
