North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution Rages at Sub-District Head in Central Tapanuli: Don't Act Like You're the Hardest Worker!

North Sumatra Governor (Gubsu) Bobby Nasution became furious during an inspection of the river embankment project in Tukka Sub-District, Central Tapanuli Regency (Tapteng). Bobby was angry at the Tukka Sub-District Head, Yan Munzir Hutagalung.

This was evident from a video uploaded to the North Sumatra Provincial Government’s Instagram, viewed on Tuesday (14/4/2026). The moment of Bobby’s outburst occurred while inspecting the river that overflowed during the major flood in November 2025.

Bobby vented his anger amid heavy rain at the location on Monday (13/4). Central Tapanuli Regent Masinton Pasaribu was seen standing between Bobby and Yan Munzir. Yan Munzir was heard debating with Bobby.

Upon hearing that, Bobby’s voice grew louder as he pointed at Yan Munzir. Meanwhile, Masinton appeared to be calming Bobby.

“This is already underway, I didn’t get any orders from here, Sir,” said Yan Munzir Hutagalung in a video clip.

“From the beginning, how many people came here from the community, the residents will shout at you later, not just shouting at you. People fight for you with tens of billions, tens of trillions, and you can’t even handle this, people fight for you,” Bobby stated.

“You’re the slowest region, mentioned multiple times, do you get aid or not, look at Tapanuli Selatan over there, don’t act like you’re the hardest worker,” he continued.
