North Kalimantan Absorbs Rp27.4 Trillion in Investment in 2025, Failing to Meet BKPM Target

North Kalimantan (Kaltara) has recorded an investment realisation or absorption for 2025 amounting to Rp27,427,871,572,117, or approximately Rp27.4 trillion. While this figure is quite significant in value, it remains below the target established by the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming, or the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). Rahman Putrayani, Secretary of the Kaltara Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP), stated that the BKPM target for Kaltara was Rp37,730,000,000,000.
