North Jakarta's Kampung Bahari Drug Lord Arrested!

Officers from the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and the police have raided a drug trafficking operation in Kampung Bahari, North Jakarta, capturing the alleged drug lord and several of his loyalists. The drug lord, identified by the initials MR, was apprehended on Thursday morning (13/8/2026) after leaving his hideout following a period of surveillance. During the arrest, officers seized a quantity of narcotics as evidence. The operation faced resistance from individuals believed to be MR’s loyalists, who attacked the officers by throwing rocks and firecrackers. A police officer was reported injured during the clash. Officers managed to repel the attack and disperse the loyalists using tear gas. The suspects and the seized evidence have been secured at the North Jakarta BNN office. Photographic evidence shows at least three individuals detained, sitting cross-legged with their hands cuffed behind their backs.
