Jakarta — The Labour, Transmigration and Energy Authority of North Jakarta has received 21 complaints from employees regarding companies failing to pay Hari Raya bonuses (THR) in accordance with applicable regulations.

“We have opened a THR complaints centre for workers since 5 March 2026 and currently, there are 21 complaints from 17 companies in North Jakarta,” said Noviar Dinaryanti, Head of the North Jakarta Labour, Transmigration and Energy Sub-Office (Nakertransgi), in Jakarta on Monday.

According to her, eight workers reported that THR was not paid at all. A further 10 workers received THR that did not comply with regulations, and three workers reported late THR payments.

She confirmed that all complaints have been followed up on. In fact, some of the reported companies have already begun paying their THR obligations to employees.

She urged workers not to hesitate in reporting violations if discovered. “We also ask companies to comply with applicable regulations so that industrial relations remain harmonious and worker welfare is ensured,” she said.

“This THR payment inspection is part of the strict supervision system of the regional government to ensure companies comply with provisions regarding THR payment obligations to workers,” said Syaripudin, Head of the DKI Jakarta Labour, Transmigration and Energy Authority (Nakertransgi), in Jakarta on Monday.

According to him, the DKI Jakarta region has more than 500,000 companies of various scales. For this reason, supervision is conducted through sampling by directly visiting a number of companies.

According to him, this inspection is the second location visited, following an earlier inspection in East Jakarta (Jaktim).

He stressed that supervision will continue, even after Eid al-Fitr. This measure is being taken to ensure all companies fulfil their obligations to workers.

“We hope all companies can meet their THR payment obligations promptly in accordance with applicable regulations. This way, workers can celebrate Eid al-Fitr more peacefully with their families,” he said.
