North Jakarta Police Seize Three Motorcycles Without Documents During Routine Patrol

Jakarta (ANTARA) - North Jakarta Police seized three motorcycles without documentation during a heightened routine patrol (KRYD) and stationary raid in several locations in North Jakarta early Sunday (24/5) to maintain the area free from criminal activity. ‘The three vehicles were subsequently secured for further inspection by officers,’ said Head of the Women, Children and Trafficking in Persons Unit (Kasat PPA PPO) of North Jakarta Police, Kompol Ni Luh Sri Arsini, in Jakarta on Sunday. During the patrol, Kompol Ni Luh led 75 North Jakarta Police personnel in targeting strategic and high-risk areas for public order disturbances, including Yos Sudarso Road to Plumpang district. Patrols continued to the Mal Toll Road underpass, Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) area, and Danau Cincin in Tanjung Priok district. In addition to mobile patrols, joint personnel conducted stationary raids (fixed-point checks) at Danau Cincin Road, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. According to her, the operation focused on preventing street crime targeting sharp weapons, narcotics, motorcycle bandits, and motor vehicle theft. ‘We aim to ensure regional security and provide a sense of safety to the public from evening until early morning,’ said Kompol Ni Luh. The mobile patrol and stationary raid activities concluded at 2:10 am WIB, followed by a large-scale patrol with the Presisi Pioneer Patrol Team and Brimob. By the end of the operation, the North Jakarta Police jurisdiction remained safe and stable. She stated that North Jakarta Police reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing preventive measures and law enforcement. ‘This action aims to reduce crime rates and create public safety in line with directives from Jakarta Regional Police Chief Komjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri and North Jakarta Police Chief Kombes Pol Erick Frendriz,’ Ni Luh said.
