North Jakarta Immigration Opens Passport Services at Sudirman Car Free Day

The North Jakarta Class I TPI Immigration Office has opened passport application services during the weekend through the ‘Paspor Minggu Ceria’ (Pasporia) programme at the Sudirman Car Free Day (CFD) area in Jakarta, on Sunday (30/08/2026). The service is intended for members of the public who face difficulties managing passport matters during standard working days and hours.

Roni Fajar Purba, Head of the Visa and Travel Documents Division of the Regional Office of the Directorate General for the Special Jakarta Region, stated that Pasporia provides an alternative time for the public to apply for new passports or passport replacements.

“Through the service, which takes place from 06:00 to 10:00 WIB at Wisma KEIAI, Central Jakarta, a quota of 81 passport applications has been opened via the M-Paspor application. Passports are targeted to be completed within four working days,” Rendra said in a press release on Sunday (30/08/2026).

Applicants can also utilise passport delivery services through a partnership with Pos Indonesia to their destination addresses. This facility can be used by applicants who have time constraints regarding collecting their passports in person.

In addition to passport services, this session of Pasporia also provides information regarding immigration stay permits. Members of the public can also participate in free health checks conducted in collaboration with the Pratama Clinic of the Soekarno-Hatta Class I Special TPI Immigration Office.

The event also featured morning aerobics and interactive games. The implementation of the service was also supervised by the Head of the Visa and Travel Documents Division of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration for the Special Jakarta Region.

Through this weekend service, he noted, the North Jakarta Immigration Office aims to expand public access to passport services, particularly for residents with limited availability during weekdays.
