The North Jakarta Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimko) has held an Anti-Brawl Declaration as a form of joint commitment to creating security and order.

“This declaration also aims to maintain a safe and conducive environment,” said Tanjung Priok Port Police Chief AKBP Alrasyidin Fajri in Jakarta on Tuesday.

According to him, the anti-brawl declaration is a joint movement between North Jakarta Forkopimko and the community to reject all forms of violence.

“We invite all elements of society, especially young people, to maintain environmental security, stay away from brawls, and channel their energy into positive and outstanding activities,” said Fajri.

Through this activity, he said, collective awareness will be created within the community to prevent brawls and to anticipate various forms of security disturbances.

He invited all parties to work together to keep North Jakarta safe, peaceful and conducive. “Do not let brawls destroy the future of the younger generation and harm the community. Security is our shared responsibility,” he said.

All participants took part in the Anti-Brawl Declaration as a form of joint pledge to reject all forms of violence and inter-group fighting.

The declaration was attended by North Jakarta Administrative Mayor Hendra Hidayat, Acting North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Senior Commissioner Oki Waskito, North Jakarta Military District Commander 0502 Colonel Inf. Mohammad Syaifudin Fanany.

Also present were representatives from the North Jakarta District Attorney’s Office, Intelligence Section Head Mirza Nugraha Akbar, North Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit Head Budhy Novian, the Chair of the North Jakarta Community Early Detection Forum (FKDM), and the Chair of the North Jakarta RT/RW Forum.
