The North Jakarta City Government (Pemkot Jakut) has organised free health checks (CKG) for employees and other individual service providers (PLJP) within its jurisdiction. “This is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen preventive health services through early detection of individual health conditions,” said the Secretary of North Jakarta City, Iyan Sopian Hadi, in Jakarta on Monday. He stated that these health examinations also aim to encourage improved work productivity among employees, carried out by a health team from the Employee Health Service Centre (PPKP). According to him, employees receive comprehensive examination services, including checks for blood pressure, height, waist circumference, blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid, eyes, teeth, and ear, nose, and throat (ENT). He added that the programme is a concrete step in building a culture of healthy living among civil servants (ASN). “Early detection can prevent the risk of more serious illnesses, ensuring that performance and public services remain optimal,” he said. Meanwhile, the Head of the North Jakarta City Health Sub-Department, Murniasi Hutapea, emphasised that the activity will continue and is scheduled to be held again until July. She hopes that awareness of the importance of health will increase, creating healthy, productive ASN ready to provide the best services to the community. “So that more employees can take advantage of this service,” she said.
