The North Jakarta City Government, through the Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Sub-department, has facilitated 3,000 job seekers to take part in walk-in interviews held simultaneously at six sub-district offices across the city.

The activity formed the closing series of the North Jakarta Job Fair, which had previously been held online and offline from 19–28 August 2026.

“We deliberately introduced this walk-in interview to show and dispel the assumption that job fairs are merely a formality. Here there is a genuine direct recruitment process by companies,” said Muhamad Yasil Farabi, Head of the Training, Placement, Productivity, and Transmigration Section at the North Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Sub-department, in Jakarta on Monday.

According to him, public enthusiasm for the job fair was quite high, with more than 3,000 people recorded as having taken part in the North Jakarta Job Fair.

He said members of the public who had not had time to register during the previous activities could still take part in the walk-in interviews. Applicants simply need to register through the Karier Kerja application and bring application documents, including a curriculum vitae, to take part in the direct interviews.

“For members of the public who did not have time to register online but wish to come in person, please do so. They can be directed immediately to take part in the walk-in interview process on site,” said Yasil.

In Kelapa Gading Sub-district, the participating companies consisted of PT Bangkit Lakuliner (Se’Indonesia), PT Putra Bintang Kharisma, and PT Kharisma Potensia Indonesia. Meanwhile, in Tanjung Priok Sub-district, PT Bangkit Lakuliner (Se’Indonesia) and PT Putra Bintang Kharisma were present.

In Cilincing Sub-district, the event involved PT Bangkit Lakuliner (Se’Indonesia), PT Kharisma Potensia Indonesia, and PT Teleperformance Indonesia. In Pademangan Sub-district, PT Personel Alih Daya and PT Giandhy Dunia Rekreasi (Playtopia) took part.

In Penjaringan Sub-district, the event involved PT Personel Alih Daya, PT Anugerah Adiboga Abadi, and PT Jane Intan Permata.

“We hope job seekers can make the best possible use of this opportunity. We also hope companies can obtain workers who match their needs,” said Yasil.
