North Jakarta Administration Urges Residents to Strengthen Community Bonds During Ramadan
“The Ramadan period is the right time to strengthen social bonds, increase worship, and bolster social awareness,” said Fredy during the Ramadan Safari at Al Husna Mosque, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, on Sunday.
According to him, the government remains committed to delivering development programmes, improving public services, and promoting community welfare.
Through the “Jaga Jakarta” programme, Fredy said, the DKI Jakarta provincial government is inviting all members of the public to safeguard neighbourhood security, maintain social order, and strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation.
He also called on parents, community leaders, and young people to work together to prevent potential street brawls during Ramadan by filling their time with positive activities.
Meanwhile, Special Staff to the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province, Chico Hakim, said the Ramadan Safari is an important part of strengthening relations between the government and the public.
“The Ramadan Safari is not merely a ceremonial event, but also a moment to strengthen the closeness between the government and the community,” he said.
He stated that the DKI Jakarta provincial government is committed to maintaining a presence among the public, supporting religious activities, and ensuring a safe, comfortable, and conducive atmosphere throughout Ramadan.
“Collaboration between the government, community leaders, and residents is key to creating a harmonious and prosperous environment,” Chico said.
“This event is also expected to benefit the public and serve as part of efforts to strengthen the values of togetherness in the North Jakarta area,” he added.
