North Jakarta Administration Committed to Enhancing Public Services from Sub-District Level

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The North Jakarta Administrative City Government (Pemkot Jakut) is committed to enhancing the quality of public services from the sub-district level, coinciding with the inauguration of the Semper Barat Sub-District Office and the Sunter Jaya Sub-District Office.

“With improved sub-district office facilities, we hope that services to the community will also become faster, easier, and more comfortable,” said North Jakarta Mayor Hendra Hidayat in Jakarta on Monday.

He added that this inauguration is expected to bring positive changes in public services and support the realisation of Jakarta as an inclusive, sustainable global city oriented towards public welfare.

According to him, this inauguration represents a commitment to continuously improve the quality of services in the North Jakarta region.

“We support the enhancement of public services,” he said.

Previously, Governor Pramono Anung inaugurated four sub-district offices, including the Senen Sub-District Office and Tanah Tinggi Sub-District Office in Central Jakarta, as well as the Semper Barat Sub-District Office and Sunter Jaya Sub-District Office in North Jakarta.

Governor Pramono Anung emphasised that sub-district offices are the spearhead of services to the community.

“Sub-district offices are not merely administrative venues but the frontline of public services. This is where the community directly interacts with the government,” he said.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government targets improvements to more sub-district offices by 2030. The renovation of sub-district offices is part of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s efforts to enhance the quality of public services at the level closest to the community, namely the sub-district.
