North Barito BPPD Facilitates PBB-P2 Payments at Car Free Day

The Regional Revenue Management Agency (BPPD) of North Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan, has reopened a land and building tax (PBB-P2) payment service at the Car Free Day (CFD) event held on Jalan Pramuka, Muara Teweh, on Sunday. “Through this service at Car Free Day, we aim to provide convenience for the public to fulfil their PBB-P2 payment obligations without having to come to the BPPD office. This outreach approach is expected to increase taxpayer awareness and compliance in supporting regional development,” said Head of BPPD North Barito, Jufriansyah. The presence of the service booth received an enthusiastic response from the community. In addition to exercising with their families in the Car Free Day area, residents took the opportunity to pay PBB-P2, reprint Tax Payable Notification Letters (SPPT), check tax arrears, and consult on tax object data. According to Jufriansyah, the service provided at the Car Free Day location is part of the local government’s efforts to bring services closer to the community while improving taxpayer compliance. He said BPPD continues to innovate so that the public can more easily access tax services, both directly and through the digital payment channels provided. In addition to providing payment services, BPPD officers also educated the public on the importance of local taxes as a source of development financing. “Taxes paid by the community will be returned in the form of road and bridge construction, educational facilities, health services, and various other development programmes. Therefore, we invite all taxpayers to pay PBB-P2 on time as a form of participation in developing North Barito,” he said. Jufriansyah also reminded that the due date for 2026 PBB-P2 payment is 30 November 2026. He urged the public not to delay payment to avoid administrative sanctions and to immediately report any changes in ownership or tax object data so that the tax database remains accurate. “Through services that are present directly within the community, we hope that PBB-P2 revenue for 2026 can be achieved optimally to support sustainable regional development,” Jufriansyah said. The service received a positive response from the public who took advantage of the Car Free Day momentum to exercise while accessing various public services, including PBB-P2 payments and consultations. This year’s PBB-P2 revenue target is set at Rp1,452,616,500, the same as the previous year.
