Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, stated that the government is still calculating adjustments to the prices of non-subsidised fuels (BBM). This is particularly in light of the fluctuating movements in global crude oil prices.

Bahlil revealed that the decision regarding price adjustments has not yet been finalised and is still in the calculation stage. The results of this evaluation will be announced shortly.

According to him, the government will convey the decision after the calculation or exercise process is completed, which is estimated to be finalised next week.

“We will explain it once the adjustment has been made, the exercise, yes. The exercise is almost done. Next week,” said Bahlil when met at the Ministry of ESDM on Friday (10/4/2026).

In addition, he assured that the national energy stock situation is safe. The current national fuel reserves are above the minimum threshold, namely more than 20 days. Meanwhile, LPG stocks are also reported to be maintained above 10 days.

“So actually, I want to convey that our critical period regarding global dynamics for BBM, Alhamdulillah, we have passed. But of course, I ask all the public to be wise and prudent in using BBM, including LPG,” he said.
