The Directorate of Madrasah Teachers and Education Personnel (GTK) at the Directorate General of Islamic Education, Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag), has delivered welcome news. Incentives for non-civil servant (Non ASN) madrasah teachers will begin to be disbursed at the end of June 2026.

This information was conveyed by Minister of Religious Affairs Prof Nasaruddin Umar before a working meeting with Commission VIII at the DPR building in Senayan, Jakarta. "Alhamdulillah, we begin this new year by sharing good news. God willing, the incentives for non-ASN madrasah teachers will start to be disbursed at the end of June 2026," Nasaruddin said in a press statement in Jakarta on Wednesday (17/6/2026).

He also expressed appreciation to the GTK Madrasah Directorate team, who have worked hard to prepare the administrative requirements for the disbursement of this allowance. Nasaruddin further conveyed his thanks and appreciation for the dedication of madrasah teachers who have devoted themselves to educating the nation’s children. The Minister committed to continuing to fight for and pay attention to their welfare.

Director General of Islamic Education Amin Suyitno added that his team is currently finalising collective bank account books for the non-ASN madrasah teachers receiving the incentive. "This certainly requires time and hard work from the GTK Madrasah team," Amin said. "Later, each teacher will receive an incentive of one and a half million rupiah, and it will go directly into their accounts," he stated.
