Nokia wins Asian orders
HELSINKI (Reuter): Dutch cable maker NKF Holding's Nokia
Cables unit has won Asian power cable and telecommunications
cable orders worth almost 100 million markka, Nokia Cables said
in a statement yesterday.
Nokia Cables said it would supply copper telecommunications
cables worth almost 65 million markka to South Korea's Hyundai's
telephone network expansion project in Indonesia.
It would also supply power cables worth over 25 million markka
to South Korea and power cables worth about 10 million markka to
Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam this year, the company said.
