Nokia touts new handsets

JAKARTA (JP): Finland-based Nokia Mobile Phones Indonesia launched on Tuesday its new handset, the dual band GSM 900/1800 Nokia 8210.

The company's general manager Alexander Lambeek said the new, lightweight handset was designed for customers who were fashion conscious and liked to be noticed for their style.

Nokia 8210, which is the second product launched by the company this year, is equipped with standard functions such as voice dialing, picture messaging and a short messaging system using Chinese characters as well as changeable front covers. (cst)
