Nokia launches the Nokia 5510

JAKARTA: Mobile phone manufacturer Nokia launched here on
Saturday its latest product, the Nokia 5510, which is especially
designed for young people.

"As the future of technology depends highly on a mobile
network, we believe the Nokia 5510 will appeal to people who are
active and enjoy music, are internet savvy and enjoy messaging
while on the move," said Shaun Colligan, general manager of Nokia
Mobile Phones Indonesia.

He said that the new product had an integrated digital music
player, a digital music recorder, a stereo FM radio, games,
messaging capabilities and a WAP browser.

He added the Nokia 5510 could store up to 10 radio channels
and two hours of music in its 64 MB memory. Besides that, it
offered 2.5 hours to 4.5 hours of talk time. -- JP
