The Nokia 123 Shield, a rugged 2G feature phone, has been launched by HMD. The device is designed to withstand tough conditions, offering resistance to rain, splashes, sand, and dust, with its casing meeting the IP65 rating standard. It features a non-slip texture on the sides and rubber seals to protect the headphone and charging ports.

HMD claims the phone provides more reliable call quality and connectivity compared to other 2G feature phones like the Nokia 105. It is powered by a Unisoc SC6531E chipset and runs on the S30+ operating system. The device includes a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a single QVGA rear camera with a flash that doubles as a torch, and supports storage expansion up to 32GB via microSD.

The Nokia 123 Shield is equipped with a removable 1,750 mAh battery, offering up to 19 days of standby time or 27.9 hours of talk time. It also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports dual SIM cards. The phone is available in green and purple colour options. While HMD has not officially announced the price, retailer listings in Bulgaria and Greece suggest a price between 35 euros (approximately IDR 715,000) and 40 euros (approximately IDR 818,000).
