Noel Ebenezer to 'Sultan Kemenaker': What Ducati Motorcycle is Suitable for Me?

Jakarta - Former Coordinator for Institutional and Personnel K3 at the Ministry of Manpower, Irvian Bobby Mahendro, admitted that he was once asked for a Ducati Scrambler motorcycle by former Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer, alias Noel. Bobby conveyed this during his examination as a witness in the alleged corruption case of extorting K3 certificate processing, which ensnared Noel and himself. “Before you were transferred, did the defendant Immanuel ask you for a Ducati motorcycle?” asked the Public Prosecutor (JPU) during the trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court on Monday (20/4/2026). “Yes,” replied Bobby, who is nicknamed ‘Sultan Kemenaker’. “At that time, he asked me, ‘Dek, do you ride motorcycles?’ I said, ‘Yes, Bang,’” said Bobby. After learning that Bobby was a Ducati enthusiast, Noel once asked, “What Ducati motorcycle do you think would suit me?” After thinking for a moment, Bobby mentioned the Ducati Scrambler type and showed a photo of the motorcycle in question. After seeing the photo shown by Bobby, Noel said, “That one’s good too.” However, he caught Noel’s intent and soon ordered the model shown. Noel later inquired again about the status of the motorcycle he requested. “Brother Immanuel contacted me. ‘How are you, how’s the motorcycle?’ like that. ‘Ready, Bang,’ I said. ‘Ready Bang, it’s in process soon,’ I said like that. At that time, I ordered the motorcycle,” said Bobby. This order took place around January-February 2025. Bobby revealed that the ordered motorcycle was worth around Rp 600 million.
