No schooling for 5,000 TKI children

From Koran Tempo

Some 5,000 children of Indonesian migrant workers (TKI) in
Malaysia have had no schooling, not even elementary education,
particularly in Sabah, as indicated by Minister of Manpower and
Transmigration Jacob Nuwa Wea.

This is the sad reality, which raises the question whether
school fees are very high there or teachers are so scarce that
the children get no chance of proper education.

The Indonesian government should therefore pay due attention
to this major problem. How can the nation make further headway if
the country's human resources are not well-educated?
