No Need to Visit Community Health Centre: Jakarta's White Corps Checks Residents' Health Door-to-Door

White Corps officers, accompanied by Dasawisma cadres from RW 01 Duren Sawit, carried out routine health checks for residents of the Duren Sawit Baru housing complex in Jakarta on Thursday (20/8/2026). The service is part of the Jakarta provincial government’s effort to bring health access closer to residents with limited mobility.

The White Corps of the Health Department is a home service health programme run by the Jakarta provincial government that visits residents’ homes door-to-door. The service targets residents with restricted movement or mobility who have difficulty reaching healthcare facilities.

During the activity, routine checks were carried out including blood pressure, random blood sugar, uric acid, and cholesterol. In addition to routine health checks, the White Corps also provided education on healthy lifestyles to residents.

The White Corps of the Jakarta Provincial Health Department is stationed in every urban village across all administrative areas of Jakarta. The health check activities are carried out routinely once a month.
