No Longer BI Checking: How to Check Your Credit Report Online
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Indonesian citizens can now independently check their loan status, payment history, and creditworthiness through an official online service.
Some may be familiar with Bank Indonesia’s BI Checking service. However, this has officially been replaced by the SLIK (Financial Information Services System) managed entirely by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) since 2018.
Access to this service is freely available to all citizens via the official iDebku portal at idebku.ojk.go.id. The platform is directly connected to OJK’s central and regional offices, ensuring the data provided is accurate, centralised, and legally valid.
Through this service, Indonesian citizens can view all debts registered under their name, including those from commercial banks, financing companies, and fintech lending platforms.
What information is included in SLIK reports?
The report includes a detailed breakdown of all credit facilities previously or currently held, such as:
Working capital loans
Motor vehicle loans
Housing loans (KPR) or apartment loans
Investment loans
Unsecured loans (KTA)
Credit cards
Secured loans (backed by gold, deposits, or other assets)
Payment history and status (current, delinquent, doubtful, or default)
This information is crucial for banks and financial institutions when processing new loan applications, credit card requests, insurance claims, or business financing.

Upload required document photos, ensuring each file is under 4MB and clearly legible:

You can edit details if incorrect by pressing ‘Back’. Once verified, tick the data accuracy statement and OJK terms and conditions agreement.
Finally, click ‘Submit Application’
Upon successful submission, a ‘Registration Successful’ notification will appear. Make sure to copy or note down the registration number, as it is required to check the application status.
Stage 2: Checking Application Status
Return to the idebku.ojk.go.id homepage
