No live telecast of Malaysian GP

KUALA LUMPUR (DPA): Malaysians will not be able to watch the
live telecast of next week's Malaysian Formula One Grand Prix car
race for the first time because of poor ticket sales, news
reports said Friday.

Sepang International Circuit (SIC), which is the local
organizer of the race, have scrapped plans to allow a local
television station to carry live telecasts of the qualifying
rounds and the March 18 final, in a last-minute bid to boost
ticket sales.
