No change to RI's rating: S&P
SINGAPORE: Standard & Poor's Corp. does not plan to change its credit rating for Indonesian sovereign debt, said Agost Benard, a director of sovereign and public finance ratings at S&P in Singapore.
"For the ratings on the sovereign debt, we're not considering any changes to the rating or to the outlook," Benard said in a telephone interview.
Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is struggling to gain investors' confidence after the rupiah fell the most in 15 months on Wednesday, reaching its lowest level in more than three years.
S&P lifted the nation's long-term foreign- currency rating one step to B+ in December. -- Bloomberg
