No cash from BCA ATM

On Oct. 5 at about 9 a.m. my wife tried to withdraw Rp 500,000
from the Bank Central Asia automatic teller machine (ATM) located
at Super Indo Pamulang, Tangerang. No money came out of the ATM,
instead only a cash withdrawal slip bearing the number 007195 was
printed.

We reported this to the bank's branch at Pamulang on the same
day and to "Halo BCA" customer service at 529-99888 (reference
number 218374).

On Oct. 19, at about 6:30 p.m. I again contacted customer
service and Ibu Dedi stated that the transaction was deemed valid
and normal.

So where on earth has our Rp 500,000 gone?
