Nissan X-Trail sales increase rapidly
JAKARTA: Japanese carmaker PT Nissan Motor Indonesia (NMI) reported on Wednesday that its sales of locally assembled, or completely knocked down (CKD), Nissan X-Trails were increasing since they were introduced last May.
"We have surpassed 2,500 vehicles from January until May and our target is 6,500 units this year. It has made us optimistic enough to double our sales target," PT NMI's deputy director of sales and marketing Teddy Irawan said in a statement.
"Overall, our X-Trail sales are expected to account for 65 percent of our overall sales target of 10,000 Nissan vehicles," he added.
