Nissan introduces Navara PRO-4X at GIIAS 2026

At the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, PT Nissan Motor Distributor Indonesia introduced the Nissan Navara PRO-4X, showcasing its latest vehicle, technology, and innovation. This double-cabin vehicle combines rugged capability for various terrains with comfort and technology suited for daily use. Head of Sales and Product Planning Bima Aristantyo stated that the Navara’s presence in Indonesia is intended to provide options for customers with personal needs such as hobbies or outdoor activities, as well as commercial requirements like mining, plantations, and construction. The Navara PRO-4X contributes to Nissan’s portfolio in the pick-up segment, reinforcing the brand’s image both in Indonesia and globally. It is powered by a 2.5L turbo diesel engine producing 190 PS and 450 Nm of torque, designed to deliver adequate power and torque across different road conditions and operational demands. The vehicle boasts a towing capacity of up to 3,500 kg, supported by a high-strength steel frame, sufficient ground clearance, and a multi-link suspension system engineered to maintain stability and driving comfort on both highways and challenging terrain. As the flagship variant, the Navara PRO-4X is equipped with a 7-speed automatic transmission with manual mode, Electronic Shift-on-the-Fly 4WD, and a Rear Differential Lock to enhance traction during off-road driving. Bima Aristantyo emphasised that the Nissan Navara offers proven toughness, durability, and flexibility without sacrificing comfort, serving as a ready partner for both operational needs and active lifestyles. For the Indonesian market, Nissan offers the Navara in two variants: the Navara VE M/T priced at Rp574 million and the Navara PRO-4X as the top-tier variant at Rp695 million.
