Member of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR RI) from the Gerindra Party faction, Longki Djanggola, stated that the Four Pillars of MPR RI Quiz Competition (LCC) is not merely a contest. He described the event as a strategic means to strengthen the spirit of nationalism and apply it in daily life. He made these remarks while opening the 2026 MPR RI Four Pillars LCC at the provincial level for Central Sulawesi in North Birobuli, South Palu, on Monday. He noted that this year’s competition is a tight national series involving 38 provinces, which began on 31 March 2026. The participation of the Central Sulawesi delegation marks the importance of continuous efforts to instil the values of Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in the younger generation.

Longki emphasised that the participants are future leaders and thinkers who will lead Indonesia. He reminded them to adapt to the rapid pace of change, stating that the challenges they will face are more complex than those of previous generations, requiring them to equip themselves with intelligence, creativity, and, most importantly, strong character. The success of the nine schools in reaching the provincial stage is seen as evidence of a growing fighting spirit among students, where true success is measured not only by academic achievement but also by character, social awareness, and a commitment to building a more advanced and sovereign Indonesia. He urged the students to study and make the values of Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika their moral compass.

Deputy Governor of Central Sulawesi, Reny Arniwaty Lamadjido, expressed her appreciation for the consistent organisation of the event, which had been paused during the pandemic. She encouraged the participants to uphold sportsmanship and not be discouraged by the results, reminding them that all nine schools are the best in the province and will have future opportunities to win. The nine competing schools are SMKN 1 Sojol Utara, SMAN Model Terpadu Madani Palu, SMAN 1 Mepanga, SMAN 1 Luwuk, SMAN 6 Palu, SMAN 1 Tinakung, SMAN 1 Wita Ponda, SMAN 1 Tolitoli, and SMAN 6 Sigi. The participants’ abilities were assessed objectively by a panel of professional judges from academia and the education bureaucracy, including Professor Aminuddin Kasim, Dr. Suardi Daeng Mallawa, and Dr. Sintiadewi Mateka. The event was also attended by MPR Deputy Chairman Abcandra Muhammad Akbar Supratman and Secretary of the Central Sulawesi Education Office, Syam Zaini.
