Nine parties submit fund reports

JAKARTA: Only nine of 24 political parties that contested the
April 5 legislative election have submitted their audited
campaign fund reports, the General Elections Commission (KPU)
disclosed on Friday.

KPU member Mulyana W. Kusumah said the nine parties were
Golkar Party, the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-
P), Democratic Party, National Mandate Party (PAN), Indonesian
Unity Party (PSI), Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), Reform Star
Party (PBR), Pancasila Patriot's Party, and Concern for the
Nation Functional Party (PKPB).

Mulyana said that although most political parties had not yet
submitted their reports, the commission would still announce the
audit result on July 28 as scheduled. -- JP
