Nine Giant Warehouses Set to Invade the Karawang-Subang Corridor by 2029
JAKARTA - Indonesia’s industrial manufacturing and logistics landscape is preparing to face a massive expansion wave in the next three years. Based on Colliers International’s market mapping, nine new warehouses are scheduled to begin operations gradually until 2029. Head of Research at Colliers Indonesia, Ferry Salanto, assesses that the emergence of these nine warehouses is an indicator of investor confidence in long-term macroeconomic stability. The sectors dominating this expansion include high-tech manufacturing, electric vehicle components, and large-scale food processing industries. Ferry revealed that investor interest in building new production facilities remains high. “Their focus is now shifting towards distribution efficiency and proximity to strategic infrastructure such as ports and toll roads,” said Ferry Salanto in the Colliers Quarterly Q1-2026 report, quoted by Kompas.com on Monday (20/4/2026). The nine warehouses are: 1. KIIC Warehouse 4 2. SPIL Warehouse Daan Mogot 3. Daiwa Logistics (Phase 3 & 4) 4. EZA Hill Cikarang (Warehouse 2 & 3) 5. Cibinong Logistics Hub 6. Sinar Primera Industrial Narogong (Warehouse 1, 2, & 4)
