Nine Ambassadors Present Credentials to President Prabowo
President Prabowo Subianto received letters of credence from nine Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) Designate Resident to the Republic of Indonesia at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday (9/6). This state ceremony marks the beginning of the official tenure of these diplomats whilst reinforcing Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening international relations. The welcoming procession began with the playing of the national anthems of each partner country within the Merdeka Palace grounds. After the honours, the ambassadors took turns entering the credentials room to submit their diplomatic documents directly to the Head of State. During the ceremony, the President was accompanied by cabinet members, including Minister for Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister for State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and three Deputy Ministers for Foreign Affairs: Muhammad Anis Matta, Arrmanatha Christiawan Nasir, and Arif Havas Oegroseno.
