Nikita Mirzani Undergoes Spinal Surgery; Condition Update

Nikita Mirzani has reportedly undergone spinal surgery after suffering severe back pain linked to spondylosis, a degenerative condition of the spine that can cause nerve compression. The actor, known for speaking out publicly, had pursued various therapies and outpatient treatments before doctors advised surgery due to persistent pain and the risk of permanent nerve damage. The procedure typically aims to decompress the nerve or stabilise the spine, enabling movement without disabling pain.

The operation lasted several hours and was described as without significant complications; Nikita Mirzani remains in a recovery room at the hospital, where she continues rehabilitation and is wearing a brace to support the neck or back as needed. Family and close associates said the surgery went smoothly, and her focus is on medical rehabilitation to restore muscle strength and spinal mobility.

Recovery from spinal surgery is gradual, and Nikita has been urged to follow a rigorous rehabilitation plan.

Separately, updates from her legal cases indicate that Anang stated the verdict against Nikita Mirzani is not yet legally binding, as prosecutors have time to decide their position. Nikita has said she will appeal a four-year prison sentence and a Rp1 billion fine in a case of extortion reported by skincare entrepreneur Reza Gladys. A court in South Jakarta sentenced the actress to the penalty, and she and her assistant Ismail Marzuki (Mail) attended the first trial for alleged intimidation and extortion against Reza Gladys. In addition, former PPATK head Yunus Husein reaffirmed that banks are obliged to provide customer information when requested by law enforcement.
