Night-Time Care Initiative: BAGI BKR Bandung Branch and AGP Strengthen Social Concern
Bank Artha Graha Internasional (BAGI) BKR Branch, together with Artha Graha Peduli (AGP), has once again organised a social activity through the Night-Time Affordable Market programme, held on Jl. BKR RT 03 RW 02. The event took place at 19:00 WIB, targeting residents living near the business unit’s office. During the activity, BAGI and Artha Graha Peduli provided three subsidised basic foodstuff packages to help alleviate the burden of essential needs for the community.
In addition, as a gesture of care and togetherness, 50 iftar meal packages were distributed to the public in the area in front of the office. This initiative is expected to deliver direct benefits while strengthening ties with surrounding residents.
Entering the final week of Ramadan leading up to Eid al-Fitr, Artha Graha Peduli is expanding the programme’s scope, particularly in the Jabodetabek region, by introducing additional strategic food commodities. Besides subsidised basic foodstuff packages, AGP is also conducting market operations for several food items that often experience price increases ahead of the holiday.
Through this activity, the public can obtain frozen meat at Rp70,000 per kilogram and chicken eggs at Rp25,000 per kilogram via the meat operation and market operation schemes, which are part of the Artha Graha Peduli Affordable Market series. These prices are below the government’s reference rates, thereby helping the community access food ingredients at more affordable prices ahead of Idul Fitri.
During the same period, AGP is also offering kitchen commodity packages consisting of red bird’s eye chillies, curly red chillies, and shallots at Rp50,000 per package. This package is provided to assist the public in meeting the needs of cooking ingredients, which generally increase ahead of Idul Fitri.
“The Night-Time Affordable Market programme is part of the ongoing commitment of BAGI and Artha Graha Peduli to deliver tangible assistance to the community, especially in the vicinity of the company’s operations. Through this activity, it is hoped to help maintain the public’s purchasing power while fostering a sense of togetherness and social solidarity,” said Dewi Lusiwati Kasmara, Branch Director of BAGI KCP BKR Bandung.
In the future, BAGI KCP BKR, together with Artha Graha Peduli, plans to consistently deliver various social programmes that have a positive and sustainable impact on the wider community.
