Night of Museums in Russia to Celebrate International Museum Day

Saint Petersburg (ANTARA) - The Night of Museums event was held in St. Petersburg, Russia, providing residents and tourists with the opportunity to explore the city’s rich cultural heritage at night.

Held ahead of International Museum Day, this annual event has evolved into a unique cultural tourism activity in Russia. From Saturday (16 May) to Sunday (17 May), more than 140 museums, art galleries, libraries, exhibition halls, and concert venues in St. Petersburg remained open to the public from afternoon until late at night.

Visitors immersed themselves in various exhibitions, performances, and interactive cultural experiences, while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the city’s culture at night.
