Nigerian arrested for counterfeiting

JAKARTA: Pamulang police officers in Tangerang arrested on
Monday a Nigerian, Edurhe N., for forging US bank notes and other
items.

Edurhe, who lives on Jl. Mawar II 19, Taman Kedaung, Pamulang,
was caught red-handed while processing a fake US$100 bill with
chemical substances and a special stamp.

Police believe Edurhe had successfully produced some 100 fake
US$100 bills.

During the raid, the police also found 41 airplane tickets
with various destinations, seven bank note stamps, and several
fake documents such as passports and ID cards.

Edurhe is currently in custody at the Pamulang subprecinct
