Eliezer Waruwu’s academic journey was one of the highlights of the 87th graduation ceremony at the University of Tarumanagara. The young advocate from Nias successfully earned a cum laude degree and was named the best student in the Master of Law program with a perfect cumulative GPA of 4.00.

The graduation ceremony, held at the Jakarta Convention Center, marked the culmination of Eliezer’s long journey as a student pursuing education while building his career in Jakarta.

Coming from Nias Island, Eliezer admitted that he had to face various challenges during his time studying and working in the capital city. Amidst his busy schedule of working and practicing law, he managed to complete his master’s degree with top academic achievements.

For him, education is an important asset for opening up future opportunities and making a broader contribution to society and the legal world. Perseverance, discipline, and consistency are cited as the main factors that helped him maintain his achievements until he graduated with perfect grades.

“Hard work never betrays results. I believe that every young person from regional areas has the same opportunity to succeed if they are willing to work hard, be disciplined, and not give up on their circumstances,” said Eliezer, quoted on Sunday (17/5).

This achievement is not only a source of pride for him and his family but is also expected to motivate young people, especially those from regional areas, to continue pursuing higher education.
