Ngurah Rai Immigration Serves 32 Passport Applications During Weekend 'Pasporia' Programme

The Ngurah Rai Class I Special Immigration Office (TPI) served 32 passport applications during the ‘Pasporia’ (Ceria Passport) programme held on Saturday at the Immigration Lounge in Discovery Mall Bali. The service, which began at 8:00 AM local time, is an initiative by the Directorate General of Immigration to provide weekend passport application services in easily accessible public spaces. It offers a more relaxed yet professional alternative for people who cannot visit immigration offices on weekdays. This marks the second Pasporia event at the Discovery Mall facility since it began operations on 8 July 2026. The number of applications doubled from 16 the previous Saturday, reflecting growing public trust and interest in the weekend service. The programme also serves to introduce the new Immigration Lounge to the public, promoting it as a comfortable and representative alternative location for immigration services. All stages of the service, including document checks, data verification, and biometric data collection, were conducted in accordance with standard operating procedures. Head of Ngurah Rai Immigration, Bugie Kurniawan, said the increasing number of applications demonstrates that the public is greatly assisted by weekend services. He expressed hope that Pasporia would continue to be a solution for those needing passport services without disrupting their weekday activities. The event proceeded in an orderly, safe, and smooth manner, with strong public enthusiasm.
